These Terms govern your use of slwc.life and your bookings and purchases with Sustaining Life Wellness Center. By visiting our site, booking, purchasing, or participating in our SMS program you agree to these Terms.

Services and Eligibility

SLWC provides acupuncture and wellness services as permitted by North Carolina law and the scope of practice of our practitioners. You must be 18 or older to book or purchase for yourself. Parents or guardians may book for minors.

Scope of Care, Medical Advice, and Emergencies

Clinical recommendations are provided during appointments by licensed practitioners within their scope of practice. Website content, emails, and SMS are educational and administrative and are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or emergency care. For emergencies, call 911 or your local emergency number and seek immediate care. Always consult your physician regarding medical conditions, medications, or interactions.

Scheduling, Cancellations, and No shows

◾Booking window: online booking opens 24 hours in advance.

◾Reminders: we send a courtesy reminder 24 hours before and another 2 hours before your appointment.

◾Cancellation policy: cancel within 12 hours and reschedule at least 1 hour before the start of your visit

◾Arrival: please arrive on time. Late arrivals may shorten your session.

◾No walk-ins: appointments are required.
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services that are unsafe, inappropriate, or inconsistent with our policies.

Sources: you, automated technologies such as cookies and analytics, and service providers that support scheduling, messaging, payments, and hosting.

Payments, Packages, and Refunds

◾Payment timing: payment is due at booking for scans, virtual consultations, single sessions, and packages unless prepaid.

◾Packages: packages are prepaid bundles of sessions and may include acupuncture, NeuroWaveXL, or a combination. Packages are not refundable or transferable. If additional care is needed we may offer discounted extension packages case by case. Sessions generally expire 12 months from purchase unless extended in writing.

◾No guarantees: every body is different. We do not guarantee specific outcomes.

◾Prices: prices may change over time.

AcuGraph and Virtual Consultations

◾AcuGraph scan: an in person digital meridian scan that provides an energy report. It is diagnostic and consultation only and does not include a treatment.

◾Virtual consultation: a remote session that provides holistic guidance. It does not include the AcuGraph scan or hands-on treatment. If in-clinic care is advised we will outline next steps.

Communications and SMS Program

If you provide your phone number and opt in you agree to receive SMS per our Privacy Policy Section 8. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We may send essential transactional messages such as confirmations, reminders, and service updates. You can manage preferences any time.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse our site or communications systems including attempting to access data you do not own, interfering with operations, sending unlawful or abusive content, or infringing rights of others.

Intellectual Property

All content on slwc.life including text, graphics, logos, photos, and video is owned by SLWC or our licensors and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or use our content without permission.

Third Party Services and Links

We may link to or integrate third party services such as scheduling and payments. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The site and services are provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law SLWC disclaims all warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim related to the site or services will not exceed the amount you paid to SLWC for the service at issue.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SLWC and its personnel harmless from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the site or services.

Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina and applicable federal law. Venue for disputes lies in the state and federal courts located in Forsyth County, North Carolina.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. The effective date above reflects the current version. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
