These Terms govern your use of slwc.life and all bookings, purchases, and services provided by Vivamus Bene Inc. DBA SLWC.Life, Sustaining Life Wellness Center. By visiting our site, booking, purchasing, or participating in our communications programs, you agree to these Terms.
Services and Eligibility
SLWC provides acupuncture and wellness services as permitted by North Carolina law and within the scope of practice of its licensed practitioners. Clients must be 18 years of age or older to book or purchase services. Parents or legal guardians may book for minors.
Scope of Care, Medical Advice, and Emergencies
Clinical recommendations are provided during appointments by licensed practitioners. Website content, emails, and SMS communications are educational and administrative and are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or emergency care. For emergencies, call 911 or your local emergency number and seek immediate care. Always consult your physician regarding medical conditions, medications, or interactions.
Scheduling, Cancellations, and No shows
• Appointments must be scheduled in advance. No walk-ins.
• Online booking opens 24 hours in advance.
• Courtesy reminders are sent 24 hours and 2 hours prior to appointments.
• Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before your appointment time.
• Late arrivals may result in shortened sessions.
• We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services that are unsafe, inappropriate, or inconsistent with our policies.
Payments, Packages, and Refunds
Payment Timing
Payment is due at the time of booking for all scans, consultations, single sessions, and packages unless otherwise stated in writing.
Packages and Payment Plans
Packages are prepaid bundles of sessions and are not refundable or transferable.
Beginning January 5, 2026, all packages are administered through automated recurring payment plans inside our booking and billing system. By enrolling in a package, you authorize SLWC to charge the payment method on file according to the agreed schedule until the package balance is paid in full.
If a scheduled payment fails, remaining appointments will be paused until the account is brought current.
No Outstanding Balances
All rendered services must be paid in full before additional appointments may be scheduled. Accounts with outstanding balances may not continue care until payment is resolved.
Legacy Account Policy
Accounts originating under previous business entities, pricing structures, or payment systems must be settled in full before initiating new services. Once outstanding balances are paid, legacy accounts are considered closed. All future care continues under current pricing, package structures, and policies.
Session Expiration
Package sessions expire 12 months from purchase unless extended in writing.
No Refunds and No Guarantees
All services and packages are final sale. We do not guarantee specific outcomes.
Pricing Changes
Prices and package structures may change at any time.
AcuGraph and Virtual Consultations
• AcuGraph scans are in-person digital meridian assessments for consultation and informational purposes only and do not include treatment.
• Virtual consultations provide holistic guidance and do not include scans or hands-on treatment.
Communications and SMS Program
If you provide your phone number and opt in, you agree to receive SMS communications from SLWC in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. We may send essential transactional messages including confirmations, reminders, and service updates.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse our site or communication systems, interfere with operations, transmit unlawful content, or infringe on the rights of others.
Intellectual Property
All content on slwc.life including text, graphics, logos, photos, and video is owned by SLWC or our licensors and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or use our content without permission.
Third Party Services and Links
We may integrate third-party services for scheduling, payments, and communications, which are governed by their own terms and policies.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Services and site content are provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SLWC disclaims all warranties and shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the service at issue.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold SLWC harmless from claims arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of services.
Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina and applicable federal law. Venue for disputes lies in the state and federal courts located in Forsyth County, North Carolina.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. The effective date above reflects the current version. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
