How Complementary Care May Fit
Complementary care may be discussed as supportive to relaxation and nervous system balance. The goal is to support the body's natural regulatory processes, not to guarantee specific treatment outcomes.
What This Care Does Not Do
We do not guarantee treatment outcomes for stress or sleep. These concerns often benefit from a combination of approaches, and complementary care is offered as one supportive element.
When Conventional Care Matters
Seek medical or mental health evaluation for persistent insomnia affecting daily function, severe anxiety or depression, thoughts of self-harm, or any mental health concern that feels overwhelming. These deserve professional support.
What to Expect at an Appointment
Your first visit includes a discussion of your concerns and history, an assessment, and an honest conversation about whether complementary care is appropriate. We may also point you toward our music and meditation resources as supportive daily practices.
Your Practitioner
Amsu El, OM, Dipl. Ac., holds an Oriental Medicine Degree and is a nationally board-certified acupuncturist. His training includes the International Institute of Chinese Medicine (Santa Fe, NM) and advanced study in electro-acupuncture and meridian-based healing. Care is always individualized and grounded in understanding the whole person.

Can acupuncture help with sleep?
Acupuncture may be discussed as complementary support for relaxation and nervous system balance. We do not guarantee specific sleep outcomes.
Do you offer meditation resources?
Yes. Our Music and Meditation page offers guided breathing and sound practices designed to support nervous system regulation as a general wellness practice.
Should I see a therapist or doctor too?
We encourage appropriate professional support for persistent stress, sleep, or mental health concerns. Complementary care works best alongside, not in place of, professional support.
