    How Complementary Care May Fit

Complementary care may be discussed as supportive to your overall comfort. The goal is to support the body's regulatory processes, not to reverse or cure an underlying neurological condition.

What This Care Does Not Do

We do not claim that acupuncture regenerates nerves or reverses neuropathy. Neuropathy has many possible causes, and appropriate medical evaluation is essential. Our role is supportive and complementary.

    When Conventional Care Matters

Seek medical evaluation for new, worsening, or spreading numbness or weakness, sudden changes in sensation, balance problems, or symptoms affecting your ability to function safely. These require assessment by your medical providers.

What to Expect at an Appointment

Your first visit includes a discussion of your symptoms and history, an assessment, and an honest conversation about whether complementary care is appropriate for you. We do not promise outcomes; we work with you to support your body's natural processes.

    Your Practitioner

Amsu El, OM, Dipl. Ac., holds an Oriental Medicine Degree and is a nationally board-certified acupuncturist. His training includes the International Institute of Chinese Medicine (Santa Fe, NM) and advanced study in electro-acupuncture and meridian-based healing. Care is always individualized and grounded in understanding the whole person.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Can acupuncture cure neuropathy?

No. We do not claim acupuncture regenerates nerves or reverses neuropathy. Acupuncture may be discussed as a complementary, supportive option alongside your medical care.

    Is NeuroWaveXL used for neuropathy?

NeuroWaveXL may be discussed as a complementary therapy to support circulation and nervous system communication. It is not a treatment that reverses nerve damage, and any use is based on individual assessment.

Do I need a medical diagnosis first?

We encourage you to work with your medical providers to understand the cause of your symptoms. Complementary care is most responsible when the underlying picture is understood.
